11-20-04 SpongeBob Squarepants. Biologically nothing more
than a large grouping of simple cells aranged to form pseudo-organelles in order to maintain life. But when you
add into the mix his personality, he is so much more than that. He's exciting, he's enthusiastic, he's a seasponge with a
tie. I think that he has a great attitude towards life and and sets an agreeable staple, at least in my opinion, of what
more people who would not, should do, when they don't. There is so much to say about this seemingly simple
character. He is so dynamic. He is a loyal friend, a dependable employee, a model citizen, a trouble maker, a riot starter,
an infectious laugher, a kid at heart, and best of all, a snazzy dresser. Dori of Nemo comes to mind when I think of the way
he deals with life, its a very in-the-now mentality that they both share, and I think thats what I admire most becuase thats
where I try to be. Of course leaving yourself blindsighted to the distance future will kick you in the balls sooner or later,
but sometimes we as a society get too caught up with that and forget about now. What about now, whats happening today? I dunno,
lets ask spongebob.
