As the legend begins, the person who would come to be known as Gummi Joe was born in the small
desert village of Tucson Arizona at 5:45 in the afternoon on November 3rd of 1979 Under the sign of Scorpio to loving parents
Bob and Flo. The second of 3 boys, Joe always had emotional support (i.e. someone to blame broken things on). From an early
age, Joe had an interest in drawing, he would draw constantly while at school and at home. Amazingly though, he turned down
an opportunity to attend a prestigious art institute in Colorado to pursue a career in Pharmacy.
Here we are in the year 2005, and our hero, now 25 and 6' 4" finds himself in the best
shape of his life, and at a great vantage point to do many great things and have lots of new expiriences, some wholesome,
some rather tounge in cheek, but what the point of living if you never really live? Right?.
Educationally, Joe was overjoyed when he was invited to become part of the Graduating class of 2009
at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy . Vocationally, Joe hopes to someday create art worth talking about and actually
get a grip on his hang-up about not selling his art. Joe is a friendly soul and would probably give you the shirt off his
back in return for something that money couldn't buy, like a smile! Joe also one day hopes to leave the southwest corner of
the United States far behind, at least for a while in order to explore the rest of the world and see things that one just
cant find here in the desert ( you know, like Dingos and Red Phone booths, and for right now, legally recognized same sex
partners).
Joe is now on a determined path to learn as many new things as he
can and hopefully retain some of it. If you happen to see Joe wandering the streets, do not give him money, this only encourages
him to beg for more. Do, however, stop and say hi.

I love life, but there is so much out there that sometimes it overwhelming. Its very often that I
feel pulled in more direction than one at any given time. In fact, its so seldom that I'm not mutlitasking that I feel like
I'm missing out on something if I'm only doing one thing at a time. So that brings me to the point of having a webpage. I
think its helpful to lay down your playing cards every once in a while and really take a look at what you are doing.
I also feel its important to open yourself up to critisism (contructive, of course) in order to maintain the correct path
in life. So in a nutshell, thats my long story summed up, well, in a nutshell. So let the festivities commence. Hope you're
enjoying the ride...
